Changing from manually creating users to LDAP managed.

We consider applying LDAP user management instead of having the users create their own account and choose a password of their own.

Can anybody help me with these question?

1) what happens to the 1100+ users who exist in the user table already?

2) Can we establish Single Sign On, so that anybody in the AD can open Spira Test by just typing the url?

3) If somebody leaves the company (and the AD) will they be prevented from opening Spira Test?

Hi Lene

You can use LDAP with SpiraTest. To do that you'd need to:

  1. Update the TST_USER table so that all of the users have a valid LDAP_DN field that points to their AD/LDAP account.
  2. Single sign-on within your LAN is a bit different, it uses NLTM Windows authentication and that is not supported.
  3. Yes.
